Blackwatch Highland Annie, CGC, MX, MXJ, CD (Ch. Gemini Winterhaven's Phar Lap X Ch. Briergreens Hearthside Encore) is now retired from competitive agility due to injury. With limited trialing Annie qualified for three AKC National Agility Championships, earned 54 Qs, 48 at the Excellent level, (she grandfathered into Excellent JWWs), 44 placements, 17 firsts, 14 seconds, 8 thirds, and 5 fourths. She retired with 390 MACH points. She currently is a class demo dog. She fills in for student's dogs who are lame or aggressive and is a great teacher of handling skills to the novice handler. She made her debute as a pet therapy dog for a local nursing home. Annie then started obedience and finished her CD with a 1st Place and a 194. At 9 1/2 years young she played the part of Sandy in our local theaters sold out production of "Little Orphan Annie" in July 2004.
